Here at Pink Three, our services are geared towards EDUCATING women with up to date breast cancer & breast health information as well as EMPOWERING them with resources necessary to deal with the “right now needs” of breast cancer.
Our “open door” support group meets the first Saturday of every month from 10am-12noon at Advocate Trinity Hospital, 2320 E. 93rd St., Chicago. ANYONE is welcome to attend; from the newly diagnosed, to the 20+ year survivor, from the husband who wants to learn what he can do to help to other family members who want to be supportive…ALL are welcome. For more information, please contact our facilitator Donna @ (773)524-8168
We currently offer FREE wigs to cancer patients, it doesn’t matter if you are currently in treatment or not. Starting January 2015, we will be offering FREE breast prosthesis and bras to women who are uninsured or under insured. Also, starting in January 2015 we will be working with Advocate Trinity Hospital to offer free “take home” care packages for their breast surgery patients. Stay tuned for more exciting information to come!
Need someone to come out and speak to your group? Just give us a call, most times; we can accommodate a speaker for any size group. We can also facilitate breast health awareness workshops. Of course there is no charge, but donations are always appreciated. For more information, please call our office direct or email your request to firstname.lastname@example.org
Through legislation, we have made many, many changes in the care and treatment of breast cancer patients, but the fight is far from over. We will keep you updated to what’s going on with laws and new legislation as it pertains to breast cancer treatment and diagnosis.
